Yes, its claimed by critics to be the supposedly movie of the year if the next anticipated blockbuster movies in line e.g. The Mummy, Quantum of Solace (007), Harry Potter could not topple it. Being able to lead ALL the movies chart in the history of Hollywood and the entertainment industry for movies itself is no small deal in the IMDB Top 250 (chart for all-time good movies) Being at an average rating 9.4 for that 2hours-45minutes movie is certainly overrated. Being one of the moviegoers who actually watched this movie a day after it premieres, it doesn’t only disappoint me regardless of what the critics and movie fans have to say. I just don’t think its a masterpiece. Yes, the Heath’s version of Joker may be much better, BUT mind you, the biggest crime he commit wasn’t terrorizing the city of Gotham but stealing the limelight of the entire movie.

I went to Gurney Plaza late at night with two of my cousins just to buy the tickets at 10pm after failing a several attempt to make online and call reservations. Anticipated by such a huge turnout, the eagerness of to watch that movie actually grew bigger. Prior watching The Dark Knight, we watched Wanted as well. The sci-fi movie was generally better than that of The Dark Knight. Although it contained violent scenes but nevertheless the action scenes were brilliant though the curving of bullets made me questioning my knowledge towards Physics on wondering ‘how in the world that those bullet could have curved?’. Angelina Jolie was an excellent actress in this kind of movie without slipping her elegant-ness in portraying one of the Mafia.
On the contrary, The Dark Knight, sequel to the best-selling franchise Batman is no longer what it was before. It simply…changed. My only disliking of the movie was the twisting subplots which I deem vulnerable to movie fans. My friends, often argued that it was a great movie, I in fact, was the only one who said it was just above mediocre. I would give a solid 6/10 for The Dark Knight.
on the contrary, i felt dark knight was a masterpiece! well, i certainly do understand the idioms of ‘one man’s meat is other man’s poison’.
you are entitled to your opinion, anyways, good review.
haha. i think the dark knight too long d until almost sleep nia.
