This entry is the consequent event of the previous blog entry. In my opinion, Tao Cuisine is more of quantity selection rather than a quality menu, but nevertheless, its still an excellent dining experience if many factors are taken into consideration. The restaurant is open as early as 5.30pm to 10.30 for buffet every Monday to Sunday. For every walk-in or reservation costumers before 6.30pm, you are entitled for an early bird discount of 10%. Yes, we knew about it so we actually went there earlier so we could slowly enjoy our meal whilst chit-chatting here and there. Its an Asian fusion restaurant with Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Western food and even some local delicacies. This buffet cost RM48++ per person so its very worth it for its price, and you could afford to pamper your stomach with these kind of food with high calorific content once a while.
Here are some pictures:

Taiwan praying mantis prawn. Tastes okay.

Sichuan Fish. I think its a local fish, not from Sichuan, especially after the earthquake!

White Shell Crab. Though its tastes like chee-cheong fun to me.

This is the barbecue salmon satay. Quite good I would say.
I missed or could say forgotten to take pictures for instance, the lamb shoulder and scallops. That were one of the main ichiban dishes. Aiya, cause when both dishes came I just wanna put those food into my mouth already, haha.
Allow me to rate the following:
Food: 7/10
Ambience: 9/10
Variety: 8/10
Price: 10/10
Overall: 8.5/10
Hmm, what is the total sum amount for all of this food? Look so good , I also hungry d, haha. U put price 10/10 mean cheap ar or worth to eat, haha
Oh, I forgot to mention its all-you-can-order buffet style. So, need not bother you can order as much as you can.
As for the price, 10/10 means its very worth to eat. Thanks for asking.
Nice never been to this kind of restaurant be4 that give u all u cna eat in order form, so u know how much per person have to pay?
Its RM48++ per pax. If you reach there before 6.30pm, you get another 10% discount. So you just add RM48 with the 5% govt tax which is about RM 50. Quite worth it, I would say.
If you come from Penang Island, there is one more at e-Gate.
Yup, that answers my question. The e-Gate however is kinda small and the ambience is rather pale to comparison with the Auto-City one. In terms of food selection, Auto-City has sushi and salads for starters buffet style and the rest of the main menus are order form.
yeah..overall the food is ok and I personally love it..
unfortunately, I had a bad experience in TAO at Autocity.. not good service.. but in E-gate – the service is superb!!!! Thumbs up.. hehe..
Thanks for stopping by.
Really? It contradicts from my experience then.
From what I’ve been through, the waiter at the e-gate was kinda rude and kinda like wanted me to eat faster and go that kinda feeling. As for autocity, it was perfectly okay. Haha.
