While, I have to exempt myself from cinema movies e.g. Quantum of Solace, etc. I can only tolerate with my current TVB dramas collection. If you think that TVB dramas are boring, think again. Haha. I guess to each its own or one’s man meat is another’s poison. English papers for SPM are over, ah, why bother using proper English? Cincai can liao lah, after all, I’m a Malaysian mah, so say LAH! Haha. If you are wondering why I still blog despite I’m in the midst of the examination period, allow me to reiterate once more, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Not again…Oh okay, back to what I intend to say, shall we?
In case that if you’re ignorant or not aware or something, Malaysians are generally a loyal fan of Hong Kong TVB dramas even after Korean, Chinese Mainland, Taiwan and Japanese dramas penetrated to our local market. I’m personally no fan of all those dramas not because of the language barrier factor, its just that the way they acts irks me, especially the Koreans. The plots are predictable, not to mention slow growing of storyline. Back to facts and figures. Chinese constitutes 30% of the population in Malaysia, though being a minority but that translates to a whopping 7 million population – which is generally bigger than the population of Hong Kong. Thus, its not weird that Hong Kong artists used to tour here once in a while, to promote their dramas which we gladly appreciate. Have you subscribed to Astro on Demand?
