Almost half a year I’ve been unproductive by spending quality time with friends and family, been to KL for 4 times now. Having said that, means more of my friends have been slowly progressing with life and moving on with whatever needed to be done, which is to enter into their tertiary education, some retaking pre-university papers, some waiting for the IPTA results. A recollection of my memory reminds me that it is about time that I start preparing for my university intake this coming July be it mentally or physically. Having visited my campus a few days back makes me even more excited of how campus life is ought to be. Well, what more could I hope for? A campus filled with eateries, facilities, hot chicks and walking distance (kinda far actually) to Sunway Pyramid for groceries, movies, hangouts. A friend of mine have been telling me that when it is drawing nearer to when you have to leave, you will feel really disturbed in the sense of leaving everything behind. After all, we’re so used of living life effortlessly, tirelessly these few months just enjoying with what we have with zero worries. Once classes commence, you need to start worry about adapting life alone, how are you gonna spend time along with your roommates/housemates, worry about transport to campus, etc.
Life has to have some setback at times, I mean, success always comes after failures. So being out of your comfort zone to do something beyond what you deem fit is hard to chew along with reality, but when life permits everything then how would that make one’s life worth living? Status quo doesn’t necessarily promises the best way out, so it’s crucial that we start to embrace what life has to offer for us. After all, if we do not live this one right, who dares guarantee that we would have a second one?
