Of Transformers 3, Bersih 2.0 and Yours Truly

It has been awhile since I last updated my blog. Has been a truly busy month for me, actually. Was busy with my preparations by buying essential household items, appropriate clothes and some other miscellaneous stuffs. Let’s see, allow me to start the ball rolling by summarizing what I did for the better early part of the month. Ahh yes, how could I have forgotten? Transformers: The Dark of The Moon. As much as my obsession over Megan Fox for Transformer’s, I wasn’t especially disappointed after watching the film. The new gal was kinda hot, no kidding. Her accent was astounding to say the least. While movie critics might not be so impressed with the film, I thought otherwise. After all, I’m just some average moviegoer who enjoys watching excellent CG effects and hot babes. What more could I wish for?

Next, would be the event of the year. Yes. Bersih 2.0, no kidding. Believe me or not, I’ve been a good advocate for fundamental human rights which stresses in free and fair elections for a while now. I’ve nonetheless been tuning into this event for months now. You know what got into me? Not much of the police shooting canisters of tear gases and spraying huge loads of water canons, but the chain effect of the consequences of the authorities. It is that many of my friends are actually sharing links, photos, videos of Bersih 2.0, many of whom usually wouldn’t care less about what was really happening. Many of you would say that was no big deal, but I beg to differ. This is awareness, my friend. Youths have now a say in nation building and I say its a GREAT deal. Many people have Facebook and Twitter now. Facebook penetration in Malaysia is almost half of its population. Let me remind you, you do not want to mess with the rakyats. Photos and videos of alleged violent police brutality and abuse of power has been circulating amongst our walls for awhile. Pages of the Malaysian Lady of Liberty and Requesting PM’s Resignation has been building momentum in terms of likes. BTW, I was especially overwhelmed by Malaysians who are living abroad who are still supporting this noble cause, so I thought of making this video to be shared to all, using iPad’s iMovie app.

And yes, this marks my final entry in Penang before I depart to KL for my university intake. Like they say all good things must come to an end, so hereby I bid farewell to everyone of you here. Thank you for reading!

Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you
Until we meet again!
