About Eric

Good day folks.

Eric’s the name. I’ve completed my STPM, a Higher School Certificate which is equivalent to A Levels by international standards based in Malaysia. I did my sixth form in Saint Xavier’s Institution, a well established and a prestigious school in Penang. I’ll be doing my bachelor’s degree at Taylor’s University in Applied Finance, a 3+0 programme by the University of South Australia, which technically makes me a student of UniSA too.

Blogging often becomes one of my priority ever since I started it back then in early 2006. In case you have been wondering why my WordPress archives happens to have dated since June 2007, its due to the reason that I started my blog using Blogger. I have somehow evolved in my style of writing early this year. I tend to write mature works, being more responsible in my choice of words. Ever since the 12th Malaysian General Elections, I have found myself interested into politics and since then I have started ventured to some political articles, of course its more of a matter of my own personal opinion. No conflict of interest intended though.

Among my notable works in this blog includes food and movie reviews and some Penang-related articles which received quite a number of hits generated from Google and some other search engines.  Apart from blogging, I involve myself into certain social activities including the abolishment of the Internal Security Act by participating in candlelight vigils whenever possible. By the way, I happen to be practising the Chinese folk religion of which incorporated the teachings and virtues of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucius values. That particular religion is among the majority religion practiced by Penangites. So much for an introduction, haha.
